The mandatory national standard for fuel consumption of light commercial vehicles will be implemented next year

it is reported that the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine and the National Standardization Administration recently approved and issued the GB mandatory national standard for fuel consumption limits of light commercial vehicles

from February 1 next year, China's light commercial vehicles will begin to implement the national standard. It is reported that this standard proposed by the national development and Reform Commission is one of the supporting standards of the energy conservation law

it is understood that the standard sets fuel consumption limits for the first and second stages of light commercial vehicles in China according to different fuels (gasoline or diesel), different maximum design total mass and different engine displacement. From February 1st, 2008, the newly certified basic vehicle and its variants shall meet the requirements of the second stage limit; Since January 1st, 2009, the production vehicle and its variants of the vehicle type certified 1 day before the impact resistance test of the falling weight impact testing machine applicable to thermoplastic pipes, pipe fittings and hard plastic plates in February, 2008 shall meet the requirements of the first stage limit; From January 1st, 2012, all vehicles applicable to this standard shall meet the requirements of the second stage limit

it is reported that the major light commercial vehicle manufacturers in China knew the control degree of this standard as early as 2005, when the standard was formulated. In order to avoid the blindness of twice developing new models when enterprises use the reciprocating driving situation of electric cylinders, at the beginning of the standard formulation, the national development and Reform Commission determined that the implementation of the new standard for newly certified basic models should be in place in one step

insiders pointed out that the limit value in the first stage of excellent flame retardant performance is relatively loose. At present, most domestic light commercial vehicles can meet the limit requirements, and the limit value in the second stage is tightened by 5% - 10% on the basis of the limit value in the first stage.
